ÂÌñÉç provides temporary accommodations in accordance with the ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act for students with short-term physical or psychological conditions that substantially limit major life activities. Typically approved for one semester, these accommodations support students recovering from injuries, surgeries, or temporary health conditions and are determined on a case-by-case basis through Disability Services.
Steps to Apply for Accommodations

Examples of Short-Term Injuries
Concussion
For students who have experienced a concussion, symptoms may vary in both duration and severity. These students may be eligible for temporary academic and housing accommodations. Faculty and staff may refer to the for additional guidance.
- Students are expected to provide documentation from their current treating healthcare provider.
- Students should contact Disability Services to discuss academic accommodations or request academic flexibility through Dean of Students, if needed.
- If the concussion is severe, students may wish to consider reducing their course load or withdrawing from a course.
Physical Injuries
