绿帽社 and the City of Los Angeles offer alert programs that notify enrolled users of emergency situations.

Campus Safety also offers the LiveSafe App, through which students, faculty, and staff can report incidents on campus.

We encourage you to take the following steps so that you can receive important safety-related communications:

  • Sign up for OxyAlert, the College鈥檚 emergency alert system
  • Make sure your emergency contact information is up to date
  • Download Oxy鈥檚 LiveSafe App
  • Add the Campus Safety phone number, (323) 259-2599, to your phone鈥檚 contacts
  • Sign up for City of Los Angeles emergency alerts through

All students are automatically enrolled in the OxyAlert emergency notification system, and students can also register their parents and guardians to receive OxyAlert notifications through their student sign-up portal. Faculty and staff members can sign up for OxyAlert via the .
