Tyrone Davis is a Los Angeles based producer, director, and educator.

Tyrone Davis is a producer, director, and educator who leads Support Black Theatre鈥檚 educational initiative, GroundED. Previously, he was Associate Artistic Director at Center Theatre Group, where he provided leadership and direction for artistic programming at the Ahmanson Theatre, the Mark Taper Forum, and the Kirk Douglas Theatre, and Community Artistic Director at American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, where he commissioned, developed, and directed new work.

Select producing credits include: West Coast premiere of Slave Play by Jeremy O. Harris directed by Robert O'Hara, Blues for an Alabama Sky by Pearl Cleage directed by Phylicia Rashad, world premiere of King James by Rajiv Joseph directed by Kenny Leon, Twilight Los Angeles, 1992 by Anna Deavere Smith directed by Gregg Daniel and Fetch Clay, Make Man by Will Power directed by Debbie Allen in association with LeBron James and Maverick Carter's SpringHill Company. He holds an M.F.A. in acting from California Institute of the Arts and a B.A. in theater from California State University, Northridge.
